Getting Ready for Your First Visit
It’s normal to be nervous when visiting a dental practice for the first time. After all, you’re meeting the people to whom you’re entrusting the health and safety of your smile! We want all of our patients to feel completely at ease during their visits, and naturally that includes the initial appointment. If there’s anything at all that you’re uncertain about, simply call us! We’re happy to answer any questions you might have, and we’re excited for the chance to get to know you and your loved ones better as we help you maintain your dazzling grins for life.
Your First Visit
The first step is to check in with our friendly front desk staff and fill out the appropriate forms if you haven’t already. We’ll then bring you to the treatment area and take a number of X-rays of your mouth. This is your chance to tell us about any preexisting conditions or concerns you might have about your oral health as well as specific types of treatment. Of course, your initial visit will naturally include a routine examination and cleaning; afterwards, we’ll develop personalized treatment plan for you.
During your first appointment, we need you to fill out a number of forms that will give us a clear picture of your overall health as well as what sort of issues we might need to specifically look for. Filling out these forms can be time-consuming – it often takes roughly 20 minutes – but you can save a lot of time at our office by simply completing them at home and bringing them with you. This will significantly cut down on the time you spend waiting for Dr. Walia. Below are the links for the English and Spanish forms.
If you have a dental insurance plan to help you save money on dental care, your first step should be to call our practice and confirm that we accept your particular policy. We can go over the details of your plan with you and help you understand what benefits you’re entitled do; don’t be afraid to ask questions if you need to. We‘re more than happy to file the necessary claims for your regular appointments as well as any other procedure you might undergo.
Not everyone has dental insurance, but that doesn’t mean you don’t still have a way to cut down your personal costs for dental care. Many patients use CareCredit to break their payments into smaller, more manageable installments that can be adjusted to fit your personal financial situation and involve little to no interest. The LendingClub is another option that offers various plans depending on your needs. If you are interested, follow the links below to apply for CareCredit or LendingClub.
In-House Savings Plan
We’re pleased to offer patients that have trouble paying for their treatment a special in-house savings plan. Whether you’re simply paying for your own care or are bringing your entire family to our practice, our plan will help cut down your out-of-pocket costs when it comes to most dental fees. No claim forms or waiting periods are involved. You can learn more about this plan and how it makes high quality dental care more accessible to you and your loved ones by getting in touch with us today.
